Tahsinah Ahmed has been appointed Executive Director of the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC). BYLC's press release on Tuesday (June 14) said it would attend the June 15 (Wednesday) post. She has been working in the development sector for 30 years. She has worked in various organizations including Save the Children USA, BRAC, USEP Bangladesh and Action Aid Bangladesh.
According to BYLC, Tahsinah came to BYLC with almost three decades of professional experience in the development sector. She served as the first female Executive Director of USEP Bangladesh and established and led BRAC's skills development program.
Ejaz Ahmed, President and Founder of BYLC, said, “I am confident that Tahsinah will be able to take BYLC forward.
By the way, Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) is the first leadership training institute in the country. The goal is to connect young people in a variety of mediums, and to enable them to work in the public, private and nonprofit sectors through proper leadership training, as well as ensuring prosperity, justice, and inclusiveness in societies around the world.
